MISSING A MODULE in webcourses?
In the first instance, please ask your lecturer to add you to that module. You will need to provide them with your student number.
User names and passwords are case-sensitive
Student user name is your student number beginning with an uppercase letter, e.g. C09123456.
Student password is the same as used in DIT's email and ICT Domain, initially your date of birth in ddmmyyyy format (e.g. 31 January 1991 is 31011991).
Students may change this password at My Password or contact the Support Desk Phone 402-3123 or support@dit.ie
ICT Domain passwords expire periodically. They may be changed at My Password or by the support desk staff.
Staff user name is your six-digit staff number. Please contact the Support Desk or the Learning Technology Team to reset your password.
If you have entered your user name and password correctly and are not logged in, your computer possibly has spyware which will need to be removed.
Browser Check
Before logging in, it is highly recommended that you perform a browser check to see if your computer is properly configured to use webcourses.dit.ie.
Check Browser
Pop-up Blockers
webcourses.dit.ie sometimes uses small browser windows to deliver requested content. Some pop-up blockers incorrectly interpret these small windows as pop-ups and block them. If you have installed a pop-up blocker, turn it off while using webcourses.dit.ie.
Java Security Certificate
After logging in to webcourses.dit.ie, you will be prompted to accept a Java Security Certificate. You must click Yes or Always to ensure that functionality using Java will work properly in your browser.
